About The Steel Overbox

A quick, affordable DIY repair solution for covering damaged built-in or recessed electric meter boxes.

Designed to fit neatly over an existing damaged electric meter box without removing the original box, making repairs much quicker, easier and more cost-effective.

Manufactured from 2mm powder-coated aluminium for strength and durability, with a full-length 316 stainless steel rust-proof piano hinge.

Suitable for electric meter box installations.

Fixes securely to brickwork for added security and is supplied complete with fixings.

Installation

Easy and quick to fit.

• Position the overbox over the existing meter box.
• Mark the four fixing holes onto the brickwork or plaster.
• Drill the holes and fit suitable wall plugs.
• Secure the overbox using the supplied screws.
• If required, apply sealant around the edge of the frame for a weatherproof finish.
