I made some modern house number stencils for my house, I thought you might want a set for yourself!

These are 4" tall numbers, in a Palms Springs-y, Neutra Face font.  They look great.  (contact me if you need a different font)

The adhesive backed, CAD cut vinyl stencil sticks directly to the curb giving you a cleaner result than a typical plastic stencil.  The transfer paper that is included helps maintain the character spacing for things like the insides of the #8.  No worrying if you've got it straight- it stays correctly aligned through your installation. Due to these stencils being made from decal sheet, they are 1 time use only.

The price listed is for ONE 4" digit.  Please change the quantity for how many numbers you need, then leave me a note on checkout with your house number.

For example, if my house is # 1234, I need to order quantity 4, then leave a note saying "My house number is 1234".  Easy Peasy.

After I receive your order, I'll machine cut your number as a single sticker (not individual numbers), just as shown in the listing photographs.

The above photos show the how-to.
You'll need some good masking tape, 2 paint colors and a brush.
  • Clean the curb of lose paint and dirt with the brush
  • Mask off the area to be painted your background color.  I used Krylon Satin White. Paint with several light coats until covered.  Let it completely dry.
  • Leave the outside masking tape on, and add your stencil sticker.  Peel off the backing and stick the numbers (attached to the transfer paper) directly in your background square.
  • Remove the transfer paper by pulling it off the numbers at a 90deg angle.  This will minimize the edges lifting.  If they start to lift, stop pulling, press it back down, and resume.
  • Add more masking tape to make up and difference between your stencil and the background square.
  • Paint your number color in very light coats.  This will minimize bleeding and allow the best result from your stencil.  I used Rustoleum Satin Lagoon.
  • Once you have thorough coverage, let it dry completely.
  • Slowly peel away your masking tape and stencil to reveal your new numbers!
