Drill a 14mm hole and the Charge Warning Light (TCWL) clicks into place. The two wires are both 1m long and should be connected to earth and the output side of the ignition switch or as close as you can get to it. Comprehensive fitting instructions are provided - follow these and you can't go wrong.
Very simple, easy to remember colour/voltage map:-
RED = Undercharging, GREEN = Charging OK, YELLOW = Overcharging

This is the toughest and brightest Tri-colour Charge Warning Light on ebay. And the only one that is encapsulated in ultra durable epoxy resin, making it super strong and genuinely waterproof. It is strongly recommended you watch the video in this listing - as well as seeing all its modes of operation, you also see it surviving heavy blows from a hammer and working fully submerged in water!
Others on ebay are dim and you may struggle to read them in sunlight. The yellow is a true yellow - others display amber which can be confused with red. The wires each have 16 strands of 0.2mm - very tough, very durable but slim enough (1.6mm outer diameter) to easily incorporate into your wiring loom. You can buy cheaper but you can't buy better!
Suitable for cars, motorcycles and all vehicles that have a 12V battery charged by an alternator or dynamo.
Simple to install, simple to use - never be in doubt whether you will be left stranded with a flat battery. Gives peace of mind, is fun to use and looks good.

Technical details:- Encapsulated in flame retardant (UL94V-0 standard) epoxy resin. Maximum power consumption @ 15.9V with yellow displayed is 0.49W. Made in UK. Please use the TCWL with a suppressed ignition system. Unsuppressed may affect the operation of the TCWL and is anti-social as it causes picture breakup on TVs in some of the houses you go past. Not suitable for Lithium batteries.
