I am selling a fantastic Bauer dinnerware item!
My husband and I went on holiday a while back, this treasure is just one of the items we found.
This item is a pie plate from Bauer’s Hi-Fire line, which was introduced around 1937.
It resembles their Ringware line, and uses many of the same glazes. 
This pie plate is glazed in the Red-brown color, which was used in both the Ring line and the Monterey line. It measures 9 5/8” in diameter, and is 1 1/2” deep. The back has an incised mark reading
“USA”.
You can see examples of this pie baker on page 87 of Jeffrey B. Snyder’s book
“Beautiful Bauer:
A Pictorial Study with Prices”.
Condition is very good! This pie plate has seen use, there are some visible utinsel scuffs in the center and around the edge. No other sign of use or wear at all, and no damage of any kind.
A great addition to your Bauer Ringware or Monterey service!
