Made in Wales by Welsh Cottage Cakes, these delicious teatime treats are famous throughout the land. Meaning in English "Speckled Bread" the Bara Brith is actually a tea loaf style cake - made with mixed spices and fruit. Enjoy with a cup of tea, sliced with or without some butter!
These Bara will be bought freshly for each order - we carry no stock - to ensure you enjoy the longest life and freshest taste! The design may vary from the photographs shown.
Ingredients:
Self Raising Flour [WHEAT Flour (with Calcium, Iron, Niacin, Thiamine), Raising Agents (Disodium Diphosphate, Sodium Bicarbonate)], Sultanas (18%), Sugar, Water, Whole EGG, Vegetable Oil (Rapeseed), Humectant (Glycerine), Lemon Juice (0.5%) [Preservative (Potassium Metabisulphite)], Raising Agent (Sodium Bicarbonate), Preservative (Potassium Sorbate), Mixed Spice [Coriander, Cinnamon, Ginger, Nutmeg, Fennel, Cloves, Cardamom]. May contain traces of SOYA.
