A beautifully modelled cherub sitting playing a Cello makes a very unusual trinket box. The highlights are picked out in silver rather than the more usual gold, just the features of the cherub picked out in gold. The silver has hardly any wear which shows how carefully its been treated. Its from the 1900-1920 period but is most likely to be of the earlier date. It had a German mould number and Deutschland in red on the bottom. It would make a lovely Christmas present.
