Latin name: Ocimum basilicum

The plant has dense foliage, its height is about 25-30 cm (9-12 in).
It has dark green leaves with a smooth surface, having a unique menthol taste.
One plant weighs up to 350 g (12.3 oz). Basil is rich in vitamins and minerals, improves digestion.
It is best for fresh consumption, drying, freezing, marinating as well as for flavouring vinegar or other beverages.
