This show polished red anodized fitting will allow you to install the vacuum port into your valve cover without the hassle of welding in a bung. This is especially important  when you have chrome or powder coated valve covers that would be damaged in the welding process. Simply drill a 1-1/16" hole and insert the red 12 AN fitting from the outside and install the aluminum baffle on the inside of the valve cover.
The baffled fitting prevents excess oil from being pulled into your vacuum pump.
