This work is to decorate in the house for a lucky charm.
It is said that Saga Mask was made in imitation of Noh’s mask used in Noh performance at Saga Shakado (Seiryouji temple).
Since the late Edo period, it was sold at temples and shrines as a lucky charm, but completely discontinued in the early Showa era.
But the father of Fuseki Fujiwara revived it.
