This is a signed letter by Carl-Fredrik Palmstierna (1903-1993), a Swedish baron,historian, and courtier. He served as the royal secretary to the King of Sweden from 1950 t0 1975.
Baron Palmstierna was a member of the Swedish Volunteer Corps during World War II. He published several books and many articles on historical and cultural topics.
The letter is about 6" by 4", and is handwritten and signed by Palmstierna (see scans). The letter is dated January 10,1978, and was sent to an American autograph collector.
The letter is in very good condition, with a scrape on the reverse side.
It is enclosed in a clear plastic sleeve, for protection.
