This Tri Point screwdriver addresses one of the common problems that technicians experience when working with iPhone 7 series and anything after that. The screws can be difficult to remove without damage because many of the drivers made for the internal .6 mm hexagon screws are not machined properly. In addition to this challenge they are very small and require a high degree of precision along with proper seating technique to make sure that they don't strip out and give you a major headache not to mention costing money in down time as you struggle to remove a screw with a damaged head. With a flat tip resembling the Japanese Industrial Standard developed to prevent this issue with Phillips type screws, this screwdriver will minimize your chances of camming out which is the cause for screwdriver slippage. You still need to be very careful of course but in my experience this is one of if not the best tools for the job when it comes to removing and replacing those annoying little Tri Point iPhone screws.
