These letters are mostly from Michigan State Sanatorium in Battle Creek to Miss Ethel A. Brown about her medical appointments related to tuberculosis and pleuristy.  There are lots of descriptions of her chest x-rays. 

There are also about 14 letters from her husband Jim who is at Fort Custer Training Center in Michigan  during 1941.
