The application is described in the respective workshop manual.

 Gear oil can be filled in a range of gearboxes using VAS 6617, which makes the process considerably more effective in terms of time and requires little effort. The gear oil can be pumped into the gearbox directly from the oil container using the hand pump. The volume indicator on the hand pump`s glass plunger makes it easy to read off the amount of oil that has been filled in the system.
