Composite Ruby is natural Ruby augmented with a filler, e.g., lead-bearing glass, increasing the clarity & creating a gorgeous, fully natural-looking gemstone. Only a gemologist with specialized equipment can discern the difference between a quality composite (which this is) & a 100% natural gemstone.
