PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

This fabric-based sealing tape is designed for waterproofing joints between walls and floors, wall corners, joints, pipes, and penetrations. Fleece-backed. Aqua Build tapes are part of the Aqua Build Wet Room System, complete with a primer and liquid foil – available in our other listings.

Aqua Build Tape is made of a thermoplastic polyester elastomer with a fabric reinforcement. It is not self-adhesive. For surface application, we recommend using the AQUA BUILD Liquid Foil Waterproof Tanking Membrane.

The tape should be applied to the freshly applied semi-liquid membrane, pressing it lengthwise by hand or with a roller. Remember that corners are particularly vulnerable to water penetration, so we recommend using specially designed corner joints. Once the membrane has dried, you can begin installing tiles.
