Surface preparation:

In order to ensure good adhesion, it is necessary that there is moisture in the environment (on the surface and/or in the air). The surface must be smooth and clean. Remove contaminants such as dust, dirt, grease or rust. Clean with alcohol solvent, acetone and/or sandpaper. Check coating surfaces, remove peeling coatings. If necessary, cover the adjacent area with foil or tape before gluing.

Application: Clean the surface to be glued. Apply a layer of glue to one of the surfaces to be glued. Press the surfaces together and hold them for at least 30 minutes after securing them with tape or clamps. Bonding two non-absorbent surfaces: Moisten both surfaces with a damp cloth. Make sure there is enough moisture for the glue to set. Apply a thin layer of glue. Wait 2-3 minutes. Press the surfaces together (before the film forms) and secure with tape or clamps.

Application: After bonding, the surface can be 100% coated with paint, especially water-based acrylic varnish. The product hardens when it reacts with moisture. Keep the bottle cap and nozzle clean. Due to the variety of plastics and varnishes that exist, it is advisable to test the adhesion characteristics and material compatibility of any material before using it. The hardened product is waterproof, but not suitable for long-term exposure to water (submersion). Glue the mirrors in compliance with DIN 1238 standard point 5.1 and DIN EN 1036 standard requirements. For gluing large objects, ask for technical advice.


IMPORTANT NOTES

Cleaning tools

Clean tools used for gluing immediately with acetone or alcohol solvent. Hardened glue can only be removed mechanically.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place. Avoid direct sunlight. The product is not sensitive to cold.

Removing stuck-on residues

Fresh glue is easily removed with a dry cloth. Unhardened residues are cleaned with acetone or alcohol solvent.

Note. It is impossible to completely (100%) remove glue that has hardened on clothes. Cured glue is insoluble in any solvent and can only be removed mechanically using a suitable tool such as a scraper.

Validity period: Up to 12 months in unopened container.
