• A pretty pin badge from the World Federation of Teachers' Unions.

  The badge face is 2cm high and has a safety clasp style fastener to the rear.

  It is an East German Pin badge featuring the flames logo on an open text book.

  Historical Information. 

  The initials FISE stand for Federation Internationale Syndicale de L'Enseignement, founded in 1949, the headquarters were expelled from Vienna and then Paris for activities that could undermine the establishment (fifth columnists) and from 1978 onwards found a home in Berlin, East Germany.
