Plastic ,no pins . You have to glue  it on. They are painted.. The amp one measures 3"3/4  long .. The G is 2"1/4 high. They were originally for collectors and vendors. They did not want a brand new looking logo on a older looking amp.. So they may have pimples or dimples on them. etc. . There is a gold version as well. The are made of similar plastic from back then, be careful.
