The 3/16” bore shank is very smooth inside to help reduce the foam. There are cheaper shanks from China that have a much bigger bore and very rough inside this will cause more foam.
The 1/4” Barb will fit 3/8” outside diameter MDPE beer line it will also fit 3/16” and 1/4” inside diameter PVC tubing.
These are high quality beer taps not cheap Chinese unbranded imitations.
