A cellular signal is required to receive live-tracking updates and push notifications. It is not required for your collar's GPS fence to remain active. Wi-Fi is required for setup but not continued use.
When placing digital fence posts to create the boundary, ensure they are at least 25 feet away from off-limits areas like busy roads. Dense overhead tree coverage, like heavily wooded areas, may cause signal quality loss.
If there's a power outage, or your Wi-Fi network goes out, the collar will continue to operate as intended and keep your dog safely within the boundary.
Do not use this product if your pet is aggressive or is prone to aggressive behavior. Aggressive pets can cause severe injury and even death to their owner and others.
