to skin About the Ingredients: Matrixyl 3000 (Palmitoyl Oligopeptide & Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-7) is
made up of peptides that promote collagen synthesis,
nearly doubling the amount
of collagen found in the skin. Collagen is the structural support
located beneath the skin,
making it firm. Argireline
(Acetyl Hexapeptide-8) is a wonderful
topical substitute for Botox injections. Working in a similar way to
Botox, Argireline is absorbed through the skin, where its chemical
composition inhibits the SNARE complex, causing facial muscles to
contract with less force. This decreases the appearance of fine
lines and wrinkles that are gradually caused by facial expressions
over time.
Argireline
also has excellent water-binding and cellular-communicating
properties. Please note that despite what many other sellers claim,
no evidence
exists that supports the claim that Argireline promotes the synthesis
of collagen. Hyaluronic
acid (Sodium Hyaluronate) is
a naturally occurring substance formed in the human body. It is a
glycosaminoglycan which is primarily found in connective, neural, and
epithelial tissue (outer surface of the skin) where it acts as a
cushioning and lubrication agent for our joints, nerves, hair, skin
and eyes. HA has an especially important role in epithelial tissue
because it promotes the growth of keratinocytes and retinoic acid
(vitamin A metabolite), and it helps collagen synthesis. It is stored
in large amounts between the spaces of skin cells where it provides
moisture and improves the elasticity and
plumpness of the skin. As we age our bodies start to
produce less and less hyaluronic acid, which decreases moisture in
our skin significantly. Applying hyaluronic acid topically is
beneficial because it penetrates through the dead layer of the skin
(stratum corner) and diffuses deeper into the skin. HA is unique in
that it has the ability to hold in 1000 ml of water per gram of
hyaluronic acid, giving it the capability to hold a lot of moisture
in the skin. Using hyaluronic acid topically can increase the moisture, elasticity, firmness, and plumpness of the skin. Helping to decrease fine lines and wrinkles, providing
healthy and youthful looking skin. HA is good for all skin types
including oily and combination skin. The serum can be used under a
moisturizer for dryer skin, or on its own for oilier skin. Phenoxyethanol is one of the best antimicrobial preservatives available. It is paraben and formaldehyde free and contains no formaldehyde donors. It is made up of phenoxyethanol. Caprylyl Glycol serves a dual purpose as a preservative against bacteria as well as a skin conditioning agent.
All

attachments. Plastic containers can allow oxygen molecules to enter
the container, which can degrade the serum unnecessarily quickly.
Plastic containers can sometimes react with certain cosmetic
ingredients, causing plasticizers to leach onto the formula inside.
Glass prevents all of this and also provides the added benefit of
being environmentally friendly (glass is recycled into other glass
while plastic is downgraded into a less stable form of plastic). We
