This 13A rubber socket top is manufactured from high impact rubber. It is rated at a maximum current of 13A and conforms to BS1363/A, it is designed for ideally taking 3 core 1.5mm² cable which rated for up to 15A.  

However the inlet hole will take cables up to a diameter of 10mm approximately, (3 core 2.5mm² cable rated for up to 20A).
