For sale is a NOS, new in the box, never used Sorensen number SW193. It is a stop light switch to fit 1971-1977 Mercury Capri's, and 1978-1980 Ford Fiesta's. This is the switch that turns your rear stop lights on when you depress the brake pedal. Sorensen was a small ignition manufacturer located in Glasgow Kentucky a small town not too far from here that was famous for their "Cross-Cut" points which were very popular in this part of the country back in the sixties and seventies. They were a large employer in a small town for many years, but they were gobbled up by a larger company and all the jobs went away, same old tune, second verse same as the first. I sold their products for many years due to the good quality of merchandise made in the USA, and as usual I have a few numbers left over I need to find a new home for. This part was in  my store since the mid seventies, the eighties, the nineties and into storage around 2005.
