Chimney Top Plates are made of stainless steel plates in grade 1.4404 according to DIN 17441 with a thickness of 0.5mm to 0.8mm. 

They are mainly used for flue heating equipment. 

Such chimneys are resistant to the corrosive effects of acidic condensate formed during the combustion process.
