About the artist:

It was on a trip to the desert that Rolf first fell in love with the unique wildlife and rugged landscape of Australia. There he discovered the beauty in the intense contrast of this huge, harsh land and the small, delicate creatures that call it home. Originally from Holland, Rolf soon realised that not only was Australia an extraordinary environment, but that it would take a unique way of looking to see it's true beauty. His paintings are a reflection of this art of seeing, capturing the intensity and the delicacy of a truly rare continent.
