  A pretty LIAZ advertising pin from former Czechoslovakia. The badge face is 1.5cm wide and has a stick pin fastener to the rear.

  These pin advertise the '1969 Czechoslovak Year of Quality'

  LIAZ were formed in 1951 as the Liberecke automobilove zavody (Liberec Automobile Company). Producing trucks and buses as part of the Skoda enterprise. All liaz trucks sported the Skoda logo up until the 1970's. After the collapse of the Soviet Union Liaz went bankrupt. Most of their sales were to the COMECON countries and the economic turmoil was too much for the company to endure.
