All chucks are passed hardness and anti crack test. Low strength steel could lead crack and rust very soon, especially by the inside pocket area, accuracy will drop too after a little while, so make sure avoid those bad steel and unbalanced chucks. All sellers claim 20K balance and good steel, but yes or no, time will tell.
