5 String JAZZ BASS Scratch Plate – designed to fit Standard 5 String Mexican & USA Jazz Basses. All plates are 3 ply construction.
Available in 6 colours; (top left to bottom right in first photo)
Red Brown Tortoiseshell, Red/Black Tortoiseshell, Aged Pearl, White Pearl, Dark Grey Pearl and Black BWB.
The 2nd & 3rd main photos compare the Red Brown Tortoiseshell with the Red/Black Tortoiseshell to illustrate the differences. The Red Brown Tortoiseshell has darker Brown & Cream patches, in on top of the Red/Black version.
When fitting ANY after-market Scratch plate you may need to make some small adjustments, filing and positioning to get the best fit on your guitar.
NB If you
are unsure of the fit on your guitar we can send you a paper template to
try against your guitar first.
This plate is for USA Standard 5 String Jazz Basses and does not fit other variations such as Geddy Lee
May
also fit some import Jazz Bass Style guitars, including Fender Squiers.
Some drilling of one or two holes maybe required on import style Jazz Basses due to the many differences of hole spacing by worldwide
guitar manufacturers.
The photo shows the Scratch Plates with the protective film covering in place and this should be removed after installation.
