Achiever DZ260 Thyristor for Canon Film Camera

From the collection of long time professional photographer - appears to be new - I popped some batteries in and unit flashed when I tested.  Has color filters and 2 clear lenses - have to assume for zoom? That's about all I know about this piece. Batteries, 4 AA's, are not included.
