Fills a height gap of .251" to .487" from the sidewalls to the front rail when mounting a truck cap. Can adhere to either the cap's front base rail or the truck's front bulkhead rail. Includes 3M 4298 adhesion promoter.

For the cap's side base rails install a high quality Extruded Solutions Truck Cap Seal 20ft (see choices below).

To determine if you need a Front Rail Seal measure the difference in height from the truck's side bed rails (including, if any, bed rail caps) to the truck's front bed rail.

  • If the height of the front rail gap is .250" or less, just install one Extruded Solutions quality EPDM rubber truck cap seal to all 3 rails (see choices below). No need for a Front Rail Seal.

  • If the height of the front rail gap is from .488" to .937" install Front Rail Seal XL 5 1/2ft, (ebay item: 221421463221) to the truck's front bulkhead rail and install a quality 20ft Extruded Solutions truck cap seal on the cap's side base rails (see choices below).
