This is Mt St Helens Obsidianite in one of six colors. It is made with volcanic rock "ash" blown out of the crater of Mount Saint Helens. Experts say this material is coming from 10-20 miles below the earth's surface. The pulverized rock is fused under exact laboratory conditions at temperatures of 2700 degrees. By adjusting the trace elements from the volcanic rock the beautiful colors are achieved.
