The pin is brand new and never worn. This is a thick, heavy metal pin of very high quality and with vivid colors. It is 5/8"x5/8" and 1 inch on the diagonal and is as you see on most politician's suit jacket.  Included is a metal clutch back.  Don't be misled by cheaper pins that are thin, especially the ones with an enamel coating used to hide how thin the pin really is.
