THIS ONE IS A BEAUTY!! SELDOM SEEN!! Leo began his career in 1942 with the Cicago White Sox. He played his entire 2-year career with the White Sox 1942, 1946. During his career, he played in 80 games, batted 189x and managed 36 hits (including 6 doubles, 1 triple and 2 HR’s) for a .190 career batting average. He signed the sweet spot of this OML Allan H. Selig baseball on Saturday afternoon April 29, 2006. At 88 years old, he did a nice job of signing this baseball. Unfortunately, Leo passed away on June 23, 2006 in St. Paul, Minn. He was 88. He hit .190 in 189 career at-bats in the major leagues. His numbers included two home runs, 15 RBI and four stolen bases. He played for the White Sox in 1942 and 1946. According to his obituary, he played for the St. Paul Saints from 1939-1941 and his career was put on hold to serve in the U.S. Coast Guard during World War II. Following his career in baseball, he worked in the life insurance business. This is for the serious Chicago White Sox and/or baseball fan. If you aren't a serious fan, don't bother bidding.
