Vintage Montblanc Meisterstück 146 fountain pen, West Germany production, dating to approximately the 1980s.

Fitted with the desirable single-tone 14K / 585 gold nib, which writes approximately a smooth Medium line. Features the earlier solid grey ink window, gold-plated trim and piston filling system.

The pen has been carefully cleaned and fully flushed. The piston mechanism operates correctly and the pen has been writing tested; a writing sample is shown in the photographs.

Presented in excellent cosmetic condition for its age, with only very light signs of previous handling. The black resin remains glossy, the trim presents very well and the nib is clean and attractive.

Marked W. Germany with no serial number, consistent with this earlier production period.

Supplied with the original Montblanc presentation box and outer box. The outer packaging shows some age-related storage wear; please refer closely to the photographs.
