This antique openwork star medal decorative pocket watch fob is made of solid sterling silver, weighing 8 grams. With intricate hand-engraving on both sides, the design and craftsmanship of the sterling silver material make it a unique and timeless accessory for those who appreciate vintage pieces. Perfect for adding a touch of sophistication to any outfit, this pocket watch fob is a valuable and historical addition to any collection.

*Silver hallmark stamp is in the top jump ring.
*Front side...features a central, raised heater-shield cartouche which is hand engraved. The shield is mounted over a 4-armed Maltese cross.
*Reverse side...features an identical open work star frame. The central mount on this side us shaped like a six-lobed flower.
*Suspension elements...the top of the medal features a fixed, loop that holds a thick, round authentic Lion Passant hallmarked silver jump ring.
*The medal shows authentic signs of age, including a deep, dark tarnish (oxidation) settled into the recessed areas of the engravings and cutouts. This creates a high-contrast patina that highlights the detailed metalwork. The raised edges show light surface wear consistent with being worn on a gentleman's watch chain for decades.

***PLEASE see pictures showing light engraved initials on each side!!***
