The seller describes the blade as slightly thinner than usual, which makes it easier to set up, and notes that the handle has been shaped to an oval (koban) cross-section for a better grip.
Sold un-tuned by us. Before use: sharpen the blade (initial bevel and back flattening); the hoop (katsura) may need to be seated. Not performed by us.
