The Yamaha APX-8 is a vintage acoustic-electric guitar from Yamaha’s classic APX series, combining the distinctive slim APX body design with an onboard pickup/preamp system and stereo output capability.
With its thin body, comfortable neck, and cutaway design, the APX-8 offers comfortable playability and a natural transition for players accustomed to electric guitars.
One of the distinctive features of the APX-8 is its stereo output system, providing greater flexibility for amplified sound and signal routing than a conventional single-output acoustic-electric guitar.
The electronics have been carefully tested, and both stereo outputs were checked with an amplifier and confirmed to produce clear sound.
This is particularly important on a vintage acoustic-electric guitar, as the original electronics remain fully functional on this instrument.
