The mahogany frame has a rich, deep color and a wonderful natural patina. Minor historic wear, slight chips to the delicate tips of the fretwork scrolls, and age-related marks to the woodwork as expected with an item over 200 years old. The mirror glass shows genuine, heavy old foxing which adds immense antique character. Brackets and hanging wire are old replacements but solid and ready to hang.
