This attractive, Tuck's post card(very clean, but w/ some creases) was sent on October 6, 1907, from Nishi Shimonoseki(a superb strike of the CDS!), Japan, to Master Alex Nelson, in care of R.T. Nelson, Imperial Maritime Customs, Shanghai China! It arrived via the Shanghai Local Post(a fine strike of the CDS; a routing-related "A," was also applied to the far left) on 10/7/1907! At the time of writing, R.T. Nelson, most likely the addressee's father, was also the honorary organist with the Shanghai Seamen's Church and Mission Society! The sender was the addressee's mother. As for the red, 3-Sen, Japanese definitive, it's in fair condition at best, as it has two tears. Noted imperfections aside, this post card remains a neat piece of Japanese and Chinese postal history connected to the Shanghai Local Post and Chinese Imperial Maritime Customs Service!
