Founded in 1897 in Buffalo, New York, Wile Bros & Weill was a high-volume producer of premium, union-made men's clothing. To capitalize on the massive global hype of the upcoming 1901 World’s Fair, the company launched a dedicated "Pan American Guaranteed Clothing" line around 1899–1901. They even stitched custom "Pan American" tags right into the linings of the wool suits and uniform coats they manufactured.
