This product is a rare vintage pair of hand-thrown ceramic mugs from Sue Grier Studio Pottery.
Sue Grier is a juried member of the prestigious Southern Highland Craft Guild, and her pieces are known for the bent bucket form which balances functional design with a whimsical organic aesthetic.
She has been working with clay for over 40 years, and these mugs were hand thrown by her in her studio and signed. Her studio is currently located in Leicester, North Carolina and she still works there today producing pottery.
The mugs feature a rare dancing silhouettes pattern of figures, and are in cream, ivory and black colors.
Produced in an art pottery style with a wheel-thrown technique, these unique and original pieces are perfect for both decorative and functional use.
Made between 2004 and the present, these mugs are a collection of ceramic art that adds a touch of vintage charm to any home.
