Rare Natural Ammolite Rough Fossil – Double-Sided Rainbow Color

This is a beautiful large rough Ammolite fossil specimen from Southern Alberta, Canada.

Unlike the small polished cabochons and loose pieces commonly seen on the market, this is a substantial natural-form display specimen weighing approximately 248.4 grams.

The most attractive feature is its vivid play of color. One side displays brilliant green, yellow, orange and red iridescence, while the reverse side is dominated by deep red and orange tones.

The surface also shows an attractive dragon-skin / dragon-scale style pattern, giving the specimen a striking appearance when viewed under changing light.
