This uprated(1p), green, 0.5p newspaper wrapper(has some minor stains, 4 staple holes, some creases(one major at its bottom) here and there, and two, small tears) for British Trinidad has an interesting history behind it! It was sent between 1898-1902 from Port of Spain, British Trinidad, to someone connected to the British Consul in Rio Grande, Brazil! There are some notes on the back which could have something to do with the sender or addressee of this mail. They seem connected to collecting stamps! Noted imperfections aside, this newspaper wrapper remains a neat piece of postal history connected to British Trinidad, and the British Consulate in Rio Grande, Brazil!
