This is a silver gelatin photograph that is unmounted and is 5½ x 3½ inches (140x90mm). It is published by Surfleet Transport Photographs and dates to around the late 1960s.

It shows a Southdown double-decker bus parked on a paved surface. The bus displays the registration number '6929 CD' and fleet number '929'. The destination blind on the front reads 'HOSPITAL SERVICE' and 'SUMMERSDALE HOSPITAL'. The side of the bus features a large advertisement for 'BRICKWOODS..the Pub with a smile'. Another bus and residential buildings are visible in the background to the left.

The reverse has a purple stamp reading 'SURFLEET TRANSPORT PHOTOGRAPHS, Lancing, Sussex.' Inside the same stamped box, italicised text reads 'Surfleet for SOUTHDOWN.' Below the box is a stamped number '14174'.
