This is a beautiful Squale 1545 in overall very good condition. The watch is powered by the Sellita SW200-1 automatic movement, which is currently running and functioning properly. This is the reference 1545BKBKC.AC with a black dial and vertical brushing (côtes de Genève like), a detail hard to get on camera so please refer to the reference on Squales website for a clearer picture.
The case shows some normal signs of wear from use, including fine hairlines and micro-scratches on the case and case back, but there are no major scratches or significant damage.
The sapphire crystal and ceramic bezel are in very good condition, with no chips or cracks.
The original Squale stainless steel bracelet also shows minor signs of wear, including some small scratches on the clasp. The bracelet comes with the additional original links that were removed to fit my wrist.
The watch comes with its original box, papers and Squale watch pouch.
THE CROWN
The crown is damaged and no longer screws down properly.
The crown appears to have an issue with the knurling, and it may require replacement. I have not had the crown or crown tube professionally assessed, so I cannot say with certainty which parts will need to be replaced. A replacement crown would likely need to be sourced directly from Squale or through an authorized parts supplier.
Please be aware of this issue before purchasing. The watch is therefore being sold explicitly with the crown defect.
