Discover a treasure from the 1950s era (approx), this vintage ballerina music jewelry box is a genuine piece of mid-century craftsmanship. It comes from Japan, where it was hand-assembled, ensuring that each detail is meticulously constructed. The box features a satin/silk-like lined interior, a triangular mirror glued onto wood panels, and is weighted at approx 400 grams for stability. The exterior boasts a red roof, white house, and multicoloured windows/flowers, sitting on a green base. The jewelry box is 19 cm in length, 12 cm in height, and 13.3 cm in width. It plays "Laura's Theme" as the ballerina revolves, set in motion by a winding mechanism. This collectible is not only a functional music box but also a charming decorative piece with a rich historical background.

USED: A wonderful functioning 1950s era music box. NB: Age may be different - based on research of similar designs. This design is a rare one, so difficult to verify manufacture. It is hand constructed, with printed papers and satin/silk-like interior cloth glued to wood panels. The mirror is a triangular shape, firmly adhered to inside of flip-top hinged roof lid. It reflects the spinning ballerina, firmly attached to her pivot, unbroken with tulle skirt. There are some aged marks on the house, particularly on the back, which has the winding mechanism. The hinge screws appear different, possibly indicating a previous repair, and they slightly protrude into the internal lid, beneath the satin/silky blue material lining. The inside has only a few very light marks, and presents mostly clean and in good condition, firmly glued. There is some light wear to edges and a tiny tear to back right roof corner paper.
