Series Night Watchman designed by Charles Noke first introduced in 1899. This watchman holds his staff straight up. RARE.  A sepia-printed and hand-painted figure in a red cloak holding a lantern and staff, complemented by a molded floral base and a cobalt blue-dipped rim. Features the phrase "Watchman What of the Night?" This is an exquisite piece of vintage English pottery. It has an original backstamp, which indicates its authenticity. No chips or repairs. Some small scratches considering its ago. Excellent addition to any Royal Doulton or English collection.  Carefully double-bubble wrapped.
