| Korea-Based Sourcing Sourced directly through an authorised Korean OEM parts channel, not a third-party reseller network. | Factory Part Numbers 92501-D2500 (LH) and 92502-D2500 (RH). The same assembly the vehicle left the plant with, not an aftermarket copy. | Complete LED Unit Sealed LED module. The whole housing is replaced as one piece, matching factory brightness and colour temperature. |
Genesis became a standalone luxury marque in 2015. From the 2020 model generation onward the group standardised one sealed LED plate lamp across its rear-lit platforms, which is why a single pair of assemblies covers the G80, GV80, G70, G90 and GV60 as well as the Hyundai IONIQ 6. Because the module is sealed, a clouded lens, cracked housing or dead LED cannot be repaired at bulb level — the complete assembly is the service part. This listing supplies both sides together, in the original left and right pairing.

⚠ Not compatible with the 2014-2020 Genesis / G80 (DH platform), which uses 92501-B1000 and 92502-B1000, nor with the 2017-2019 G90, which uses 92501-D2000 and 92502-D2000. Pre-facelift G70 built before the 2022 model year also uses a different assembly. Please read the moulded part number on your existing lamp before ordering.
| 1 | Both sides in one purchase. LED assemblies dim as they age, so replacing only one side leaves a visible brightness mismatch across the plate. |
| 2 | Factory part numbers, not a lookalike. Connector, clip geometry and lens profile match the original assembly exactly. |
| 3 | Far below US dealer counter pricing. Ordered one side at a time from a US Genesis dealer, the pair runs well past one hundred dollars before tax. |
| 4 | Passes inspection. A dark or flickering plate lamp is a common state safety inspection failure and a frequent reason for a traffic stop. |
| 5 | Duties prepaid to the United States. Shipped DDP with tracking, so nothing is collected at the door. |
Q1. Can I install this myself?
Yes. Both lamps sit in the trunk lid or tailgate garnish and release with the trim clips. Unplug the connector, swap the assembly, plug the new one in. Most owners finish in under thirty minutes with a plastic trim tool.
Q2. Is the bulb replaceable on its own?
No. This is a sealed LED unit, which is why the complete assembly is supplied. You receive both the left and right lamps, so the pair is replaced together.
Q3. Will I be charged customs duty on delivery?
No. Orders to the United States ship Delivered Duty Paid (DDP), so import duties and taxes are already covered in the price. Nothing further is collected on arrival.
Q4. My car is on the list but I want to be certain. How do I check?
Open the trunk or tailgate, look at the back of the existing lamp housing and read the moulded part number. If it reads 92501-D2500 or 92502-D2500, this is your part. You can also message us with your VIN and we will check it for you before you order.
