This is a neat cover(w/ some noticeable stains and wear and tear in the form of creases here and there) reflecting the deep roots German-Americans have had in Ohio for centuries! It was sent on April 12, 1893, from Hamilton(a great strike of the duplex(?)!), Ohio, to a Charles Steiner, Secretary of the Ohio Turnbezirk(German for: Division or Bureau), Columbus(arrived on 4/14, and received a pretty decent CDS!), Ohio, in care of Kolb & Stein! The sender was with the Hamilton Turngemeinde(German for: Sports Club; note the neat, purple cachet!)! As for the red, 2-Cent, "Washington," U.S. definitive(Scott #220), it is in fine-very fine condition! Noted imperfections aside, this cover remains a nifty piece of American postal history connected to Ohio and German-Americans!
