This historical collection includes the official membership certificate for Virginia Lee Danshaw, admitted October 24, 1951, through the Fort Lebanon Chapter. The certificate features an embossed gold-tone seal and signatures from President General Marguerite C. Patton and other officials. Also included is the original welcome letter on official NSDAR letterhead from Mrs. James B. Patton and the original mailing envelope postmarked January 28, 1952, from Washington, D.C., featuring a 6-cent U.S. Savings Bonds stamp. A significant piece of American genealogical and social history.
